Basketball Wives Jackie Christie Marrying Husband Doug 26 Times Isn’t Her Only Relationship Secret — HN

In an exclusive interview with E! News, Basketball Wives star Jackie Christie shared her secrets to a healthy marriage with Doug Christie. “I’m still in love with him,” she said.

When it comes to her marriage, Jackie Christie isn’t playing any games.

For more than 26 years, the Basketball Wives star has been married to former NBA player and current Sacramento Kings assistant coach Doug Christie. And as their relationship continues to play out on VH1’s reality show, Jackie is sharing her secrets to a long, healthy marriage.

“I would say communication and respect,” she exclusively told E! News. “You’re gonna go through ups and downs in any relationship, but when you put each other first—and that means making sure that you wouldn’t do to your partner what you wouldn’t want them to do to you—if you keep those things in the forefront and have fun? It can go on and on and on.”

On the season 10 premiere of Basketball Wives airing May 16, viewers will watch Doug and Christie celebrate their 26th anniversary by getting married for the 26th time. Yes, you read that right. It’s a tradition they follow every year to reaffirm their love and commitment for each other.

“I’m still in love with him,” Jackie added. “I still get butterflies when I know I’m about to see my husband. It’s the best thing ever and I just wish that for everybody.”

But their marriage is far from perfect. “A lot of the ladies give me my flowers all the time and they say ‘I want what you have. I want it like yours,'” she said. “And I told them even I—who has been married 26 times—I still question if he still finds me attractive. I ask him those questions and he tells me, ‘You have nothing to worry about.'”

Jackie and Doug have experienced some changes in recent years. After retiring from playing in the NBA in 2005, Doug began serving as a sports commentator. But now, as an assistant coach for the Kings, his schedule is busier than ever.

“With commentating, he traveled with the team,” Jackie explained. “With coaching, the responsibilities are huge now. He’s back in the forefront. He is with the players. His hours our long. I travel with my husband, but now I have a career as well that’s really taken off and it keeps me on the road a lot too. So I just want to make sure we’re good after all these years.”

This season on Basketball Wives, Jackie will also experience changing relationships with many of her co-stars as season 10 brings back several MVPs—including Angel Brinks and Brandi Maxiell— to document their lives for the camera.

While a teaser for the season shows Jackie feuding with Brooke Bailey, she isn’t ready to spoil anything just yet.

“I would have to say I’m always doing things out of love,” she explained. “I will definitely say you will see Jackie Christy in full form this whole season. I’m a little bit of everything. I’m a renaissance woman.”

And although Evelyn Lozada has stepped away from the show, Jackie is happy to report that she’s in a good spot with her former co-star.

“I adore her. She’s so funny,” Jackie said. “I’ve always said that and even though we had our ups and downs in the past, that’s behind us, that’s in our rearview mirror. And we actually have a really great friendship.”

Basketball Wives airs Monday nights at 8 p.m. on VH1. Keep reading to see who is part of this year’s cast.

LPBW Season 23 spoiler: Zach and Tori Roloff give updates on Jackson and Lilah: ‘They’re happy and healthy’ – TK

During the premiere episode of Season 23 of Little People, Big World, Tori, and Zach Roloff updated their fans on Jackson and Lilah’s milestones.

Jackson and Lilah might only be toddlers, but they’ve definitely captured the hearts of LPBW viewers.

Season 23 of LPBW debuts tonight, and during the episode, Tori and Zach gave updates on the siblings’ well-being since viewers saw them last season.

During the opening scene, Jackson and Lilah rode their scooters in their cul-de-sac with Tori and Zach.

LPBW Season 23: Lilah Roloff is walking, speaks first words
Tori revealed that on July 4, Lilah took her first steps, and she’s been on the move ever since. “She’s starting to run now,” Tori shared.

During a confessional, Zach said of his daughter, “I’m just so shocked at how brave she is.” Tori added, “There’s no hesitation either, she’s a big walker girl.”

Lilah has also begun talking: “There’s mama, dada, Jackson, Lilah, dog dog,” Tori said of the words Lilah can say. Lilah even showed off her vocabulary as Tori asked the adorable toddler to repeat after her.

Health-wise, Jackson, and Lilah are holding steady. At the time of filming, Tori shared that she and Zach were in the process of having Jackson’s bowed legs examined. As LPBW fans know, Jackson has since undergone surgery to gradually correct the bowing in his legs.

LPBW viewers might remember Lilah getting her first pair of glasses last season for a condition she has called strabismus, which causes her eyes to cross. “Lilah still has strabismus,” Tori shared with viewers. “She’s still a little cross-eyed without her glasses on.”

Tori Roloff on Jackson and Lilah: ‘They’re healthy and happy’

Overall, Tori said her and Zach’s kids are doing great: “Jackson has some bowing in his legs that we’re checking into with his doctors. But other than that, they’re healthy and happy.”

After suffering a devastating miscarriage last year when Tori was six weeks into her pregnancy, she and Zach have since welcomed their rainbow baby. Josiah Luke was born on April 30, arriving a little bit ahead of his scheduled due date.

Now a family of five, Tori, Zach, and their three kids are living in their new home on two sprawling acres in Battle Ground, Washington, a 45-minute drive from Roloff Farms. After negotiations fell through to purchase the north side of the farm, Tori and Zach opted for their Plan B and moved north, where they look to be loving the life they’re creating in The Evergreen State.

Little People, Big World airs on Tuesdays at 9/8c on TLC and Discovery+.

‘LPBW’ Season 23 Premiere Recap: ‘The Roloff Crazy Train’ – TK

The LPBW (Little People, Big World) Season 23 Premiere airs tonight on TLC. Those with a Discovery+ subscription, however, have the opportunity to stream the episode a little early. Titled “The Roloff Crazy Train,” here’s TvShowsAce‘s recap of the LPBW Season 23 Premiere.

Warning: This article contains SPOILERS from tonight’s episode.

Zach and Matt Roloff fell out prior to filming

The beginning of the LPBW Season 23 Premiere reveals Zach and Matt sat down to negotiate the purchase of the north side of the farm weeks before they started filming. The episode kicks off with both Zach and Matt telling their sides of what happened. Supporting what her husband says, Tori chimes in a little but mostly just agrees with Zach as he does the talking. Caryn Chandler, however, did give her point of view on how things went down and fell apart.

According to Matt’s life partner Caryn, Matt Roloff came into the negotiations with his business hat on. Zach, however, came into the meeting as more of a lifestyle and family meeting. Caryn believed the meeting started out badly because they weren’t both approaching it from a business standpoint. Caryn noted that she believed Zach and Tori were a bit wishy-washy on what they wanted.

Matt Roloff explained that the biggest problem is the fact that he isn’t sure Zach (or any of his other children) are passionate enough to do the work that comes along with having the property. He noted that Zach and Tori wanted to live on the property with their children. But, they didn’t really want to do the work that went into maintaining the property.

Using Lilah and Jackson left a bad taste in Matt’s mouth

Zach Roloff ended up bringing Lilah and Jackson into the business meeting. He asked his father how much it was worth for him to have his grandchildren growing up on Roloff Farms. Matt admitted it left a bad taste in his mouth that Zach brought his children into it. Both Matt and Caryn agreed that it wasn’t right or fair for Zach to play the grandchildren card to tip the negotiations in his favor. Matt and Caryn love Jackson and Lilah.

But, at the end of the day, this was a business meeting. And, Matt did not think it was fair to his other children if he just gave away a slice of the pie to Zach and Tori. Likewise, Matt argued that Zach and Tori were still expecting him to do the bulk of the work and that wasn’t what he wanted.

Zach Roloff puts distance between his children and father

After the trying to work out terms for Roloff Farms fell through, Zach and Tori took the kids and left. Matt and Caryn admit a lot of time went back without seeing Jackson and Lilah. This was difficult for Matt and Caryn because they used to see their beautiful grandchildren several times a week. Matt said that he and Caryn were their go-to babysitter. And, now they hadn’t seen them in weeks.

Zach tells the cameras during the LPBW Season 23 Premiere that he wasn’t happy Caryn Chandler was involved in the business meeting. He wanted to work the details out with his father. And, he didn’t like Caryn speaking on behalf of his father. Matt, however, explained Caryn was just an extra pair of ears to make sure Matt’s best interest was protected. Matt Roloff added that he can’t always hear everything and he needed Caryn to help support him.

LPBW Season 23 Premiere: Amy and Chris Marek enjoy married life

Amy and Chris Marek are happy as can be as they soak up their married life. Chris tells Amy he wants to take Matt up on his offer to buy them tickets to Arizona. Amy is down for it and thinks going in February is a great idea. Chris ponders what Valentine’s Day dinner across from Matt and Caryn will feel like.

Amy Roloff also tells the cameras that she’s not sure what pumpkin season will look like this year. She doesn’t own any part of Roloff Farms and isn’t sure if Matt wants her involved. Likewise, she isn’t sure if Zach and Tori will be a part of pumpkin season because she knows they aren’t on speaking terms. Amy tells the cameras she isn’t surprised they had a falling out. She clarifies she doesn’t have all the details and is trying not to get in the middle of it.

Zach and Tori Roloff ready to separate from his family

Tori Roloff notes that their entire life has revolved around Zach’s family. Both Zach and Tori admit they are ready to start living for themselves and stop making decisions based on what’s good for everyone else. So, they make the decision to make an offer 45 minutes away from where they currently live. They know it will be scary to move so far away from everything they know. Likewise, Zach and Tori know both of their mothers will be super upset if they move away.

Zach notes that he expects his father to be furious even if he doesn’t initially react to the news. After making an aggressive offer on a house in another state, Zach and Tori’s realtor call them to congratulate them on their offer being accepted.

LPBW Season 23 Premiere: Amy and Chris react to big news

Zach and Tori decide to have Amy and Chris Marek over to break the news. Amy Roloff and Chris Marek are speechless when they announce moving to Battle Ground. Amy shifts gears and tries to be supportive. Chris Marek, however, seemed really bothered by this news. He questions if they are serious and wonders why they would want to move so far away from everyone and everything they know. Tori Roloff chimes in to remind him that 45 minutes isn’t really that far away.

Amy Roloff tells the cameras she was “surprised” and a “little bit sad” that Zach and Tori were moving away. Zach’s mother adds that it is “sad” Matt couldn’t dial back his businessman approach to working out deals enough to reach an agreement with his son regarding the property. Chris Marek admits he had no idea Zach and Matt were in such a bad place. Chris added it was disappointing, but he didn’t want to speak too much on the issue because he only had one side of the story. He, however, agreed with Amy that Matt seems to go a little hard when it comes to business deals. And, he isn’t sure that’s the right approach with his own family.

Zach and Tori break the news to Matt and Caryn

Zach and Tori visited Matt and Caryn for the first time in weeks. Both couples admit the entire exchange was awkward. Zach makes the strange decision to use Jackson to break the news. Both Caryn and Matt tell the cameras they were surprised and offended that Zach would use Jackson. Caryn even got vulgar noting “who the f*ck does that.”

Zach Roloff explained during the LPBW Season 23 Premiere that he used Jackson to tell the news with the hopes of softening the blow. He was hoping to see some real emotion from his father by using Jackson. He also thought it would be harder for Matt to be angry. Zach admits he was disappointed when his father had such an emotionless response to the news.

LPBW Season 23 Premiere: Matt Roloff and Caryn lost, unsure

The episode ends on a pretty sad note. Caryn Chandler explains that they still want to have a relationship with Zach and Tori. Zach and Tori, however, are the ones that decided to walk away. And, she feels that Zach and Tori are the ones who need to walk back into the relationship. Caryn notes she and Matt never went anywhere. It was Zach and Tori that left.

The episode comes to a close with Tori noting: “This is why we are moving” in response to Matt and Caryn’s cold and awkward reaction to the news.

Have you had a chance to watch the LPBW Season 23 Premiere just yet? Let us know what you think in the comments down below. And, keep coming back for more Roloff news!

LPBW: Why Matt & Amy Were Never Meant To Work Out – TK

For years, Little People, Big World viewers watched Amy and Matt Roloff fight as it became clear their marriage was never meant to work out.

It’s become apparent to Little People, Big World viewers that Amy and Matt Roloff were never a match made in heaven. In the early seasons of Little People, Big World, viewers watched as the Roloff family seemed like an inseparable unit. Amy took care of the home and four children while Matt came up with the big ideas for the family farm. However, the couple hardly knew one another when they decided to walk down the aisle, and it’s possible they sensed from the beginning that their marriage wasn’t going to have a fairytale ending.

Sadly, the cameras caught Amy and Matt’s constant relationship turmoil as the seasons progressed. There were times when Matt left the family vacation and Amy revealed her frustration with their marriage. The couple grew more bitter toward one another until their ultimate divorce. The 27-year marriage came to an end in 2016 and not a moment too soon.

There is no doubt that Amy was always the more pragmatic partner, while Matt could easily get carried away with his grand ideas. The former Little People, Big World couple also had very different ideas of commitment, with Matt once saying, “While Amy puts commitment at or near the top of her list, I would put it further down.” According to Matt, the fault lies within his ex-wife, who found it hard to go with the flow. Matt always saw commitments as flexible and negotiable. The two could often be seen butting heads over the simplest situations.

Both Amy and Matt also lacked the ability to communicate. The two always seemed to be crossing paths but essentially living their own lives. At times, Matt would become outwardly frustrated and mean to Amy. Viewers often recall when the father of four was undergoing serious surgery. Amy, who stood by his side, tried her best to soothe him, but instead, he yelled at her for not knowing how to run the farm. Matt often belittled Amy and her ideas, including her now popular pumpkin salsa. In the end, Amy and Matt just couldn’t connect on even the simplest things.

Thankfully, Amy and Matt have both moved on with their lives. Amy recently tied the knot with Chris Marek, while Matt is still dating Caryn Chandler. Though the former couple is still navigating life after divorce, they do seem happier now that they are apart. Hopefully, Little People, Big World season 23 will feature updates on both Matt and Amy.

Chicago P.D. Fans Theorize Who Could Be A Worthy Successor To Voight — HN

Numbers-wise, Chicago cop show “Chicago P.D.” is an unqualified success, lasting for more than 180 episodes across nine seasons and counting (via IMDb). Naturally, over the course of such a formidable run, “Chicago P.D.” has changed in ways both major and minor since its earliest days.

For instance, Season 9, Episode 14 revolves around a murder investigation that leads to Kim Burgess (Marina Squerciati) uncovering a shocking scene unprecedented in the series’ history. Season 9 also explores a unique working relationship between Sergeant Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) and an informant named Anna Avalos (Carmela Zumbado), bringing a character dynamic to the show’s forefront that significantly deepens Voight’s character in a new way.

This isn’t the only manner in which Voight changes along with the series — Beghe once recounted how he’s constantly expanding his understanding of his character and bringing new findings to his performance. Given Voight’s prominent and dynamic role, “Chicago P.D.” would be irrevocably changed should Berghe ever decide to leave. Here’s what some users online think might happen should that ever become a reality.

Fans are divided on who might best replace Voight as Sergeant

On the official subreddit for “Chicago P.D.” fans, user PAACDA2 started a thread titled “Who do you think will take the unit over of Voight was ever to retire or worse, die or not be able to work?” in which they explore a couple of answers to the question they posted. In short, they think that, while Detective Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) may be Voight’s top choice, he might not do as good of a job as his predecessor in this hypothetical leadership role. Instead, they find Adam Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger) more suited to the job.

User Person_Somewhere_Aus, meanwhile, suggested that “Chicago P.D.” can’t continue without Voight before proposing a few-episodes-long trial run in which Jay temporarily becomes leader. User InfamousClock7287 agreed that Voight is irreplaceable, but suggested instead that a new actor might be brought on in lieu of an internal promotion.

Currently, Beghe seems committed to his “Chicago P.D.” role, making such speculation purely hypothetical for the time being. In fact, as recently as December 2021, producer Gwen Sigan told TVLine that a major plot development “will spark some attempts at change” for Voight as the series continues with him as its central team’s leader.

RHONJ: Melissa Gorga has ‘no guilt’ about the state of her relationship with Teresa Giudice – TK

Fans were a bit shocked when Teresa Giudice recently revealed that she was not having any Housewives in her wedding party. Especially since one of her castmates is family – her sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga.

The two have had a tumultuous relationship since Melissa and Joe Gorga wed in 2004 but have worked on improving their bond and work together as friends and family. During this season’s reunion, the pair suffered a blow when a fight erupted between Melissa, Joe, and Teresa.

Melissa is now speaking out about where she and Teresa currently stand and what the future holds for the Gorga family.

Melissa said she ‘tried really hard’ to keep peace with Teresa

Melissa was a guest on the Betches Mention It All podcast on Monday, and of course, she was asked about her relationship with Tre. She openly spoke about her decision to end her friendship with her sister-in-law, although they are family.

“I truly feel like I have hit every avenue,” Melissa revealed. “I have no guilt. It’s OK to say that [Teresa and I] don’t have the best relationship, and I don’t feel guilty saying that because I tried really hard, and I know that I tried hard — for my in-laws and for [my husband] Joe [Gorga],” she continued. Fans really feel for Melissa because it is obvious on the show that she wants to help Joe keep his relationship with his sister.

Both Joe and Teresa have said that they are the only family they have since their parents passed and don’t want to spend time fighting. Melissa agreed, saying, “[My in-laws] are not here anymore and now … it is sad to see [Joe] not have family.”

A post shared by Melissa Gorga (@melissagorga)

Melissa said that she is just plain tired of talking about her issues with Teresa. “We are all, as a cast, sick of it,” she told Betches listeners. “Does anybody really wanna see Teresa, Melissa, and Joe argue and make up to break up? Just leave it alone!”

Melissa has been a full-time Housewife for ten seasons, and every season has focused on her and Joe’s relationship with Teresa, and she is done talking about it. She admitted, “I don’t care if we never talked about it again. You have me all f****d up, and you got it twisted. I don’t want to talk about Teresa or the family, never again if it was up to me.”

Joe Gorga feels disrespected by his sister

Just last week, Joe was a guest on Melissa’s podcast, Melissa Gorga on Display, where he said, “Regardless if she liked my wife or she didn’t like my wife, she’s basically smacking me in the face, and she’s giving me no respect, and she’s making it hard on me.” Joe adds that he takes it personally, saying, “It’s not about just my wife — it’s basically ‘I don’t care about my brother.’”

He also admitted that he would include Teresa’s spouse if he were to get married now, even if he didn’t like them. But Joe does say it will be Teresa’s day, and all he wants is for her to have a great wedding. He told Melissa, “I don’t want drama. I want it to be a great day. I want to be happy, and I want my sister there, and I want it to be peaceful [and] make my sister happy.”

Kandi Burruss ‘Shocked’ By RHOA Season 14 Fight With Marlo — HN

Kandi Burruss dishes on her explosive fight with Marlo Hampton in RHOA season 14. She shares that this was even than the one shown in the trailer.

In The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 14 trailer, fans see Kandi Burruss and Marlo Hampton get into it, but Kandi recently shared that there was another more explosive fight that had her “shocked.” Marlo had been on RHOA for many seasons as a “friend of” but despite not being a full cast member, she always brought the drama. The Le’ Archive owner was never afraid to speak her mind, which resulted in epic feuds with former housewives Nene Leakes and Porsha Williams. After fans, along with Kandi, pushed for Marlo to become a housewife, she finally got her peach in RHOA season 14.

Kandi, unlike Marlo, likes to stay out of drama unless someone actively comes for her. Fans love Kandi for being a reasonable peace-maker but also being unafraid to speak her mind. Kandi’s biggest feud on RHOA was with her former best friend Phaedra Parks, which started when Phaedra accused Kandi of not being supportive through her divorce from Apollo Nida. Kandi then accused Phaedra of cheating on Apollo before he went to prison. However, the feud exploded when Phaedra told Porsha that Kandi and her husband Todd Tucker allegedly planned to drug Porsha and have s*x with her. Following the accusation, Phaedra was fired from RHOA and Kandi never spoke to her former BFF again.

Although Kandi and Marlo have had a peaceful relationship over the years, it seems as if Marlo is trying to earn her peach this season. In a recent Behind the Velvet Ropes with David Yontef podcast, Kandi revealed that there was an unexpected fight between her and Marlo that was “way worse” than the one shown in the trailer. Kandi shared, “She didn’t like what I had to say and it just blew up. We started going back and forth and it was very disrespectful, some of the stuff she was saying. That’s how I feel. Now she said I was being disrespectful, so I guess I’ll just leave it at that. We were being very disrespectful to each other.”

Marlo Hampton in a heated conversation on an episode of RHOA
Kandi was one of Marlo’s biggest advocates over the years for her getting a spot on RHOA. After the fight, she told David, “I was mad as hell. Like, really? Like, I didn’t want to talk to her ever again for real.” The Kandi and the Gang star went on to say, “I was definitely shocked at some of the things that she said because it was not cool at all. So I was definitely shocked that she went there with some of the stuff that she said.” Kandi shared that she and Marlo made up afterward, but she feels trepidation about watching the fight play back on RHOA season 14 and eventually rehashing it during the reunion.

Kandi admitted to being stubborn and not being the easiest person to get over things. However, she also spilled that Marlo got into it with other cast members of RHOA. Fans already saw tension between Marlo and Kenya during the first episode of RHOA season 14, despite their efforts to be cordial towards each other. When asked about where she stood between Kenya and former RHOA star Cynthia Bailey’s feud, Kandi was ever the peacemaker and said that she had heard both of their sides and only wishes for them to rebuild their friendship.

Love & Marriage Huntsville: Fans Think LaTisha Is In Denial About Marsau — HN

LaTisha Scott is being called out by Love & Marriage: Huntsville fans who think she’s in denial about Marsau Scott’s alleged cheating.

LaTisha Scott is being called out by Love & Marriage: Huntsville fans who think she’s in denial about Marsau Scott’s alleged cheating. Tisha has fought hard to protect her marriage over the course of the show. For four seasons, fans have watched Tisha battle it out with her friends and family all in the name of defending Marsau. Despite Marsau never giving a direct answer as to if he’s cheating or has cheated in the past, Tisha chooses to stick by her husband and ignore the ongoing gossip. But fans were shocked by Tisha’s response to her mom, Miss Wanda, finally confronting her with possible proof of Marsau’s alleged infidelity.

Marsau has been guilty by association when it comes to his alleged cheating. His alleged infidelity was first revealed in season 1 when Martell Holt was frustrated over his affair coming to light. Martell confronted Marsau after he found out his Scholt business partner had been gossiping about his affair and divorce from Melody Holt. Martell called out Marsau and accused him of having “20 girlfriends” outside of his marriage to Tisha. Marsau denied the allegations and has continued to claim his innocence despite Tisha’s growing suspicion.

Now the speculation about Marsau’s alleged cheating has heightened after Miss Wanda confronted Tisha with pictures of a figure that could be Marsau in a hotel room with another woman. The Peach Report Daily shared a clip showing how Tisha responded to her mother, confronting her with possible receipts into her husband’s alleged cheating. The issue with the photo is it only shows the man’s back and Marsau could be innocent. But it was also Marsau’s “I don’t know” response when Miss Wanda confronted him about the picture. Miss Wanda felt like she needed to let Tisha know. But Tisha was adamant that she is “not naive” and trusts her husband. “You guys are trying so hard to destroy a family,” Tisha said in response to her mother’s reveal. Fans were quick to call out Tisha for not believing her mother and seemingly bulking her into the group of people allegedly trying to ruin her marriage. “So she rather accuse her mama of trying to ruin her life instead of accepting that her husband is cheating on her?” one fan asked.

Another claimed that “Tisha made it clear. She ain’t leaving and she don’t care!” Miss Wanda asked Tisha if she was too “in love” with Marsau to see the red flags before revealing another fact about the night in question. Turns out, Tisha didn’t know Marsau admitted to being in the hotel with a friend. But instead of saying that, she became defensive toward her mother’s questions. The episode ended with Tisha confronting Marsau at their cigar lounge Blaque about the night in question. When Marsau did what he always does and refused to give a direct answer, Tisha became upset.

Fans have long speculated if Tisha and Marsau’s marriage will last. Their relationship dynamic has been a topic of discussion on the show since its inception. Tisha is making it clear that she isn’t “naive” or “insecure” about her marriage. But Love & Marriage: Huntsville fans think the clock is ticking on their fairytale romance. Melody has always accused Marsau of cheating and calls out Tisha for taking jabs at her divorce from Martell. But unfortunately for Tisha, karma might be knocking at her door.
